With a full frame equivilent focal range of 27-53mm Sigmas 18-35mm f/1.8 is a useful wide to mid zoom lens for APS-C and Super 35mm Cameras, ideal for applications such as wedding and event photography. The fast f/1.8 aperture, unusual in a zoom lens, makes it extremely useful in low light situations and means you can achieve a shallower depth of field than equivalent zooms.
The constant F/1.8 aperture, featuring 9 iris blades, creates a lovely smooth bokeh for a beautiful speration bewteen foreground and back ground, and brings a cinematic look to your images.
This bright and versatile lens has a wide range of uses for events and documentary work, and is a good substitute for the classic 16-35mm or 24-70mm lenses when working with APS-C and Super 35mm sensors.
