The Fomex Flex FL600 is the future of LED video lighting, weighing in at just over 400 grams this flexible LED mat is one of the most versatile lights we've come across. It packs a punch for its size, and being flexible can light entire rooms, or provide beautiful soft light with the included soft box.
Powering the Fomex by V-Lok battery means you can quickly relocate the light and not have to worry about trailing cables, and even use the light where there's no electricity supply at all.

FOMEX Flexible LED Light provides a versatile lighting system through significant improvements on the existing limitations of lighting equipment which allow cinematographers and photographers to produce new creations.
Its standard size of 30cm x 30cm (1ft x 1ft) the Fomex FL-600 is a great innovation in LED lighting, having a flexible mat construction. The light itself is therefore flexible and portable, allowing you to get it into locations where standard LED lights cannot reach. The mat is also Waterproof with an IP64 rating.
There is precisely controllable colour and dimming control from 0% to 100% using the controller. It is a Bi-colour design, with variation between 3200K and 5600K colour temperatures, with high colour accuracy of +96CRI - T:+96Ra (TLCI97), D:+96Ra (TLCI98).

My go to LED light
When I travel abroad for work I get a tea crate or a Peil case with two of them in and their batts then I stick the stands in my tripod tube, its so easy, compact and lightweight.
Theses do require assembly to operate but this is simple and they come with a soft box so I can get some nice subtle fill light in a room that already has daylight in.
It's brightness comes with a cost as it will drain the batteries more quickly but you can always run it from mains, and get a good set of batts with the lamp and it will last you a long time.
I find its colour rendition easy to match with ambient light on location and does not seem to have a problem with it looking slightly green or magenta as with the early LED light options.
Its design is so light I can be easily magic armed to the top of cupboards or girders so I can get a backlight into my scenes.
I would really recommend you trying the light especially if traveling or working as a self shooter but for all types of location work a great choice.
