Crisp optics and fast apertures really make this lens kit stand out. With 11 rounded aperture blades creating a stunning circular bokeh effect, combined with the shallow depths of field achievable at such fast T-stops, even on the wide 24mm prime, make for truly cinematic effect.
For ease of use the metal bodies of these lenses have a consistent front diameter of 114mm, and standard positions for iris and focus gearing, making lens changes that much smoother when you're burning daylight.
The fully manual focus has a long throw for precise focus pulling, while the design of the lens almost eliminates focus breathing, where the focal length shifts as the focus changes.
