At Kit Cabin we realise that sending over paperwork can be a tedious task, but we have made the process as simple as we possibly can.

We have 3 levels of Membership, and the levels relate to how much equipment you can hire from us at one time. It is always worth providing as much information as possible in case you need to increase your order at the last minute, or you require additional kit at a later date. But if you are just after that one lens for that Wedding shoot you somehow found yourself getting roped into, we will not require too much from you.

If you just want to browse the website and build a kit list without sending any documentation for now, that is fine, simply register your email address and password, but bare in mind you will not be able to complete your orders until at least the first level of membership is set up.

Please note we may use a Risk Assessment service to verify your documents.

Document Requirements
2x Photo ID. - Passport & Driving Licence is ideal.
2x Proof of address - Utility Bill, Bank Statement, Government or Council Letter.

Limitations
Kit value of £5,000 on hire at any one time.
Equipment can only be delivered to the address of the payment card used for booking.

Deposit Required
25% of equipment value.
This can be reduced to 15% at checkout with a non-returnable fee.
Deposit required will always be shown in your toolbar as you build your equipment list.

Document Requirements
As above, plus :

Proof of insurance, which must cover damage or loss to Hired-In equipment.
If you do not have insurance then this can be purchased at Checkout for the duration of the shoot only.

Kit value of £12,000, or the value of cover on your insurance (whichever is lowest), on hire at any one time.
Equipment can only be delivered to the address of the payment card used for booking.

2x Trade References. -  These must be businesses trading for 3 years or more. They must have a business association with you (ie. Client, Supplier, Landlord, Accountants, etc..)
We simply require a phone number and email address for somebody at the company who we can contact to confirm.
Please note it may take 2-3 days for us to verify your references. We ask for 3 references to be supplied in case one cannot be contacted.
