The Sony PXW FS5 is the baby brother to the hugely successful FS7 and inherits many of its best features in a compact body. The FS5 also introduces 240 frame per second burst mode, for recording quick snippets of slow motion.

The Sony PXW FS5 offers cinematic film making in a small professional package, with a brilliant super 35mm sensor and loads of features the PXW-FS5 is a great choice for corporate video and small scale television production. Capable of recording QFHD (16:9 4k), as well as stunning HD from it's 4K sensor, which also has 14 stops of exposure latitude, the FS5 is a great little camera.
With two professional XLR inputs, and manual audio controls, the FS5 makes capturing sound easy and gives you access to a wide range of professional microphones.
The built in variable ND filter allows you to adjust to changing lighting conditions on the go, with fine control from 1/4ND all the way down to 1/128ND, meaning you can always achieve a cinematic shallow depth of field.
High frame rate bursts are possible with cache recording, in HD up to 240fps for 8 seconds, or 120fps for 16 seconds. Even higher frame rates are also possible at lower resolutions.
