Sony's high end action camera, the RX0 boasts a range of impressive features such as being waterproof to 10m and slow motion recording, but the real draw is the comparatively huge 13.2x8.8mm sensor and 24mm equivalent Zeiss Tessar lens, which result in stunning picture quality from such a small camera.

The DSC-RX0 from Sony is an action cam with an eye for quality. Thanks to the large (compared to the camera itself) CMOS sensor, and 24mm equivalent Zeiss lens the RX) is capable of producing images that you wouldn't guess had come from a minicam. It's a great step up from GoPros for in car and POV shots that don't require 4K internal recording, while the clean 4K HDMI output makes it a cost effective option for live video production giving wide shots that will cut in nicely with footage from bigger cameras.
Multiple cameras can be controlled remotely with Sony's Imaging Edge Mobile app without the need to flick between wifi networks. Alternatively the RXO has a set of intuitive controls and full menu system in camera, which will be familiar to anybody that's used to Sony's range of cameras.
The Sony RXO is built from tough stuff too, waterproof to 10m and with good shock resistance should the worst happen. Our RX0 kits come with an aluminium cage to give added protection and additional mounting options, as well as a variable ND filter to give closer control over shutter speed.
