This great sounding microphone features a tight super cardioid pick up pattern making it a perfect microphone for recording individuals and small groups talking. Highly directional, the Sennheiser MKH 416 is a perfect boom mic adored by professionals for its great sound.
Combined with a full sound blimp and fluffy to reduce wind noise, this kit is ideal for sound recording in the great outdoors. The shock absorbing suspended mic cradle all but eliminates handling noise from boom operators, while the pistol grip means the mic can be hand held by an operator or presenter.
The blimp can be removed for use indoors where wind noise does not present an issue, making the mic easier to handle and more discrete.
The pistol grip features a standard 3/8 inch female thread for use with boom poles and mic stands.
