The Rode aluminium boom pole allows a sound operator to position a mic where it's needed, and keep it just out of shot. Extending up to 3m the Rode boom pole is sturdy and comfortable to use for extended periods thanks to it's expanded foam rubber grip.

Rode's 4-stage aluminium boom pole quickly extends from 84cm to just over three metres and locks securely allowing you to position and swivel the microphone to follow the subject.
The pole is ergonomically balanced with a padded grip to reduce fatigue during long takes.
The standard 3/8 inch thread fits most professional microphone grips and blimps, while the included 3/8 to 1/4 inch thread adaptor allows other small accessories such as GoPros to be attached to the boom pole to get a new perspective on the action.
