When a tripod is too big or heavy, a monopod can bridge the gap and give stable shots, and the Manfrotto MVMXPRO500 has a few tricks up its sleeve to help you out. The Fluidtech foot and 500-Series fluid bridging head allow for smooth pans and tilts like a tripod, but in a lightweight package. The Fluidtech foot rotates on a ball joint to tilt while staying locked in place even on uneven ground.
