The one inch sensor in the X70 is huge for a camcorder, and with a native resolution of 4k it means the X70 produces superb 1920x1080 footage with good low light performance and minimal noise. That 4k sensor also means at the touch of a button you can engage the digital doubler, giving an impressive reach to its excellent 12x zoom.
Another feature of the X70s one inch CMOS sensor is that it can be used for near infra red night vision recording in situations with minimal light.
The included handle attachment adds two XLR inputs to the X70, with phantom power and level control dials, allowing the use of a wide range of professional microphones.
