With an ulta wide 167 degree diagonal field of view, Samyang's 8mm fisheye lens gives a truly unique perspective to the world. Embracing the pincushion distortion that most manufactures work hard to reduce, this 8mm lens designed for APS-C and super 35mm sensors achieves an unbelievably wide field of view.
Like the rest of Samyang's Video Primes range, the 8mm features manual aperture control and gearing on both the focus and iris rings for use with remote follow focus controls. An extremely compact lens, at 7.5cm long and weighing in at 440 grams, the 8mm is ideal for use on gimbals, while it's ultra wide field of view is perfect for virtual tours.
