A piece of kit you hope never to need, but in the event that a crucial bit of grip fails or works loose a safety bond can protect crew and the public from injury, and hopefully save your gear as well. A replacement for the safety chains of old, safety bonds are vitally important when working at height or constructing rigs that are likely to experience fast movement or vibrations.
The bond can be passed through hard points on cameras, lights or grip and around an alternative attachment point. The locking carabiner gives added security and should be checked prior to use.
