This solid rig cage from Movcam is more than just protection for your A7s, it adds a variety of attachment points including two hotshoe mounts, loads of 1/4 and 3/8 inch female threads and 15mm bars. Combined with the rest of our shoulder rig kit, the resulting set up allows you to use your A7s mkii to shoot video more like a traditional ENG camera.
The 15mm offset positions the camera in front of the operator, so they are looking strait at the screen without having to crane their neck. The included moosebars make the camera rig ergonomic and easy to use for extended periods, and are easily to adjust and reposition on the 15mm bars.
This rig makes it simple to use other handy accessories with the A7s, such as monitors, recorders and top lights. The cage also means the camera can be mounted from above for rigging in cars and other places, such as on our POV helmet rig.
