Unusual in that it has a wide angle field of view as well as an incredibly close focus distance, the Laowa 24mm probe lens gives a bug eye view bringing a sense of presence to the shot. The probe design also means that the lens can not only get close to, but even inside your subjects, making it ideal for for product, food and scientific photography.
The fixed f/14 aperture helps keep depth of field under control at such short focus distances, while the built in ring light helps put a bit of fill into the subject that might be overshadowed by the lens itself.
The front of the lens is waterproof, meaning it can be operated underwater while the camera stays high and dry, for another unusual perspective.
