A 32GB CompactFlash (CF) card holds about 600 to 1,200 RAW photos or 3,000 to 10,000 JPEG photos, depending on your camera's megapixel count and compression settings.
For video you should expect to get approximately 1.5 hours shooting 1080p 25p at 50 Mbit/s.
(If recording video on a DSLR, bear in mine the 30 minute recording clip limit: Many legacy cameras feature a firmware block that stops recording automatically at 29 minutes and 59 seconds, requiring you to press record again to continue (this was to get around certain import/export tax reasons at the time they were manufactured).
