The Canon RF 15-35mm f2.8 L IS USM is a fast wide-angle zoom for Canon RF cameras, covering everything from an ultra-wide 15mm through to a more natural 35mm perspective. The constant f2.8 aperture makes it useful for low-light work, interiors, landscapes, events and video where you want to keep a consistent exposure while zooming.

At 15mm focal length this lens is particularly useful when you need to get a lot into the frame without having to move the camera too far back. It's a good choice for interiors, architecture, establishing shots and shooting in confined spaces, while 24-35mm gives you more conventional wide-angle focal lengths for documentary, events and general-purpose work.
The constant f2.8 aperture is useful for both photography and video, particularly when working in changing light or when you want some separation from the background at the longer end. Canon's optical image stabilisation also makes it useful for handheld shooting, helping to take some of the movement out of the image when working without a tripod or gimbal.
Internally, it is based on Canon's very popular L-series, giving stunning optical performance for professionals and hobbyists. The big difference with the new RF range over the classic EF L Series range is the Nano-USM autofocus system, which provides incredibly fast and accurate auto focusing.
